Working to reach out & educate
The Travellers Advisory Panel (TAP) is a panel of Ealing Traveller residents who meet quarterly with the joint purpose of advising the Big Lottery funded GRT Project on policy and practice in a consultancy capacity and also raising issues to be brought forward to the Ealing Traveller Inter- Agency Forum (ETIAF).
The TAP have been charged with advising our project on how best to promote and celebrate Travellers unique culture and values, but also on how to best disseminate information and guidance within the Travelling Communities. We consider their expertise and knowledge invaluable to the successful engagement of our project.
The Ealing Traveller Inter- Agency Forum (ETIAF) is a group of strategically chosen organisations and service providers who meet together quarterly to discuss issues pertaining to the provision provided for Gypsy, Roma and Traveller Ealing residents and how access to services can be improved and promoted. Partners in the forum include representatives from the Ealing Traveller Achievement Service, the Big Lottery funded GRT Project, Ealing School Improvements Team, Housing Strategy, Bashley Road Caravan Site Representatives, Ealing Homes, Ealing PCT Partnerships and Diversity, Planning Authority, Ealing MET, Ealing Racial Equalities Council and Ealing Connexions.
